L.O.V.E also known as lifting others through volunteer engagement is one of LC USM project. It is also the first project I participate in. XD
L.O.V.E aims to to connect NGO with youth to champion social economic issues and thus to help creating a loving and caring community.
In another words, to introduce available NGOs to youth and to promote volunteerism among youths. Before I started to work on this project, I have no idea why is there a need to do so, don't people already know about NGOs already?
The answer is that, yes they do but very little. Most of us know the existence of NGOs but we do not know what they do and how we could contribute. So this project would convenient youths to find out more on NGOs and help them decide how they could and would love to contribute.
On the 25th of January 2011, L.O.V.E is held in DK Foyer in USM main campus. 16 NGOs were present to educate and promote volunteerism among youths.
(Before that, I have no idea there are this many, but infact there are many more; fighting in the background to create a better society)

As hard to believe it's true, it's true!
They are now travelling around giving lesson to people on how to minimize household waste. They had done their part, have you? (Hmm.. Have I?)
Of course there are many more NGOs present on that day but I wouldn't want to bored you all by explaining every single one of them here XD.
